Ayurveda

"As long as we are not living in harmony with nature and our constitution, we cannot expect ourselves to be really healed. Ayurveda gives us the means"

~David Frawley

India's ancient healing

Ayurveda is the ancient medicine of India.  Ayurveda and TCM have many similarities yet are also very distinct.  Both methods of healing understand the important of health relying on the harmony between the body and nature.  Balance is an important goal in order for the body to function optimally.

There are three body types according to ayurveda and most people are a combination of two.  Each body type has its' own elements and traits.  An ayurvedic practitioner assesses individual traits and if a person is lacking or overproducing a specific element.  There are many ways to balance this which include nutrition, herbs, essential oils, meditation, yoga, and self massage.

An ayurvedic consultation encourages the patient to become his/her own doctor and implementing lifestyle instructions and techniques in order to balance him/herself.

After each consultation, you will leave with a customized therapeutic oil, herbs, and wellness protocol which includes following nutritional guidelines and a customized wellness routine depending on your body type.
