Ruth Lacayo AP, L.Ac
Ruth Lacayo, AP, L.Ac, is a nationally board-certified acupuncture physician recognized by the NCCAOM, with dual certifications in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. She completed her undergraduate studies in Pre-Nursing at Miami Dade College, earning an Associate of Science degree before advancing her education in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Ruth brings a compassionate, holistic approach to her practice, with experience supporting patients in fertility care, weight loss, and mental health. Her treatments often blend Eastern medicine principles with evidence-based insights, and she thoughtfully incorporates a relaxing Tui Na massage as part of her sessions to enhance healing and promote deep relaxation.
A bilingual practitioner fluent in English and Spanish, Ruth is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for healing, where patients feel seen, supported, and empowered.
INITIAL ACUPUNCTURE SESSION W/ RACHEL (NEW PATIENTS):
This 60–90 minute session includes a comprehensive health intake, Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis, and your first acupuncture treatment. Ruth will review your full health history, assess your pulse and tongue, and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your fertility, hormonal health, stress, or general well-being. You’ll leave feeling supported, grounded, and with a clear path forward.
FOLLOW UP ACUPUNCTURE SESSION W/ RACHEL (EXISTING PATIENTS):
This 60-minute session is designed to build upon your initial treatment and continue supporting your body’s natural healing process. Ruth will check in on your progress, assess any changes in your symptoms or overall well-being, and adjust your treatment plan accordingly. Each session includes pulse and tongue diagnosis, individualized acupuncture, and recommendations to support your ongoing fertility or wellness journey.
